Sefton Child Care Service is a privately owned long day care service, it has been operating for 20 years since 1998. We have currently done some renovation to the service as it has a unique approach to education and care. We believe play is powerful and is adopted within our service motto. We strive to educate and care for the children using this theory and have fun implementing it throughout each day.

From learning colours to children writing their names to learning how to be part of a group, as we like children and families to feel a part of this community. We build upon your child’s sense of belonging and sense of identity through play. We also care deeply about connecting with the families within our service.

We are a long day care service who pride ourselves on being a home away from home and our connection with the children, parents and families who are in our care.

We have a close relationship with our local Primary School to aid transitions to school. Our local community garden invites us to attend their event days once or twice per year.

This year we are hoping to bridge the gap between us and our Aboriginal community. We have started to embed sustainability practices in our service with the introduction of our herb garden and compost bin.
